I agree, he was definitely worth it! I love his face, it's not glamorous by any means, but it is believable and has beauty in that way. Excellent work, this is superb.

I'd like to be able to say that I know at least of one of your movie renders to fully appreciate them, but... well, you make me realize that I have some serious movie watching to do. Still, a great image with a lot of character.
May I point one thing out, though? The bottom of the smoke layer doesn't reach the bottom border of your frame. Not sure if that's intentional, but it seems a bit chopped off that way...
